The road to the financial difficulties of Wintergreen dates all the way back to 2013 and earlier when the resort lost a credit line needed for operations.Located in Virginia’s Blue Ridge region, about 18 miles south of downtown Waynesboro, Wintergreen Resort is one of just a few major resorts that are accessible right off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
